Irene M. Maggi

MAGGI, Irene M. -- Services will be Monday and Tuesday for Irene M. Maggi who died on February 21, 2003 at the age of 86. She was born in San Francisco, graduated from San Jose High School, and attended Heald Business College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Maggi, to whom she was married for 57 years. She and Ed lived in San Francisco, where Irene was a homemaker. They traveled every weekend to Santa Cruz to enjoy "the country", as they called it. Irene was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working with her husband on printing industry conferences, and shopping (particularly at Nordstrom's). She is survived by her daughters Joy Rodoni and Joan Horan; son-in-law Elio Rodoni; grandchildren Cathy Philipovitch, Steve Rodoni, Robert Rodoni, Elizabeth Horan, Jennifer Horan, Andy Horan and Laura Horan; and four great grandchildren. The funeral procession will leave BENITO & AZZARO PACIFIC GARDENS CHAPEL, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz, CA Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. for St. Josephs Catholic Church, 435 Monterey Ave., Captiola, CA where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. A Vigil Service will be held at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel Monday, February 24, at 7:00 p.m. Friends are invited to call at the chapel Monday from 3:00 p.m. until service time. A private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA.
