Irene NG Obituary
On Wednesday, March 18, 2015, Irene Ng of Edmonton passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Sylyanne; husband Gerry Theberge; father Sui Ngian; siblings, Chon, Wei and Ting; special furry friends, Milo, Bella and Friday as well as nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Irene was predeceased by her mother Chang Chuilan.
A special thank you to Dr. Smylie and the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and to Dr. Aung and best friends Sue and Kathy for all of their care and compassion.
A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Connelly- McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
A Memorial Mass will take place at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 7508 – 29 Avenue, Edmonton.
For those who wish, charitable donations in Irene's memory may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2.

So sorry to learn of Irene's passing. It is because of her passion that I ended up teaching with the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta. She could always be counted on for support, and a good giggle. Peace to you on your journey Irene, and may your memories bring warmth and peace to your family.

I was greatly saddened by the lost of such a great friend and colleague. My warmest condolences to Irene's family. Her smile will be remembered in our hearts forever, especially at the last Dim Sum lunch that we had at Good Buddy restaurant. May God help her family to go through this difficult time.

Deepest condolences to Gerry, Sylyanne, and all family and friends of Irene. She was the most marvelous person and I miss her so much. Thoughtful, generous, kind, considerate, full of life and laughs. I am blessed to have known, and worked with Irene, but mostly to call her a dear friend.
