SWALLOW, Irvine Murray
September 17, 1942 - September 16, 2014
Irvine Murray Swallow, age 71, of Airdrie, Alberta passed away peacefully at Rosedale Hospice on September 16, 2014. Irvine was born on Sept 17, 1942 in Windthorst, Saskatchewan to Irma and John Swallow. He met his future bride, Deanna Jesse at 16 in Regina, Saskatchewan. They married on June 29, 1963 and celebrated 51 beautiful years together this year. Irvine's family was his greatest treasure. The special holidays and moments they spent together where his fondest memories. The joy that Irvine and Deanna shared for their Lakehouse, their purple Martin house and the beautiful gift of this past summer, will be forever held in our hearts. Irvine leaves behind his beloved wife Deanna, his children, Tannia and Rene, Tracey and Dan, and Trenna and Bob. His grandchildren, Lauren and Matt, Teddy, Evan, Brooke and Izzy. They will truly miss Papa's unconditional love and acceptance. Irvine was very thankful for the love of his brother Harvey, Marilyn, and his wonderful extended family of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family requests that donations be made to the Rosedale Hospice, 920 7A Street NW, Calgary, AB T2M 3J3. For their peaceful, beautiful surroundings, and their love and support, we are truly grateful. To express condolences, please visit: www.mountainviewmemorial.ca. Uncle Irv was so full of life, and so much larger than life. My memories of him I will hold close to my heart always. I can't believe he is gone and wish I had been able to spend more time with him over the years. Much love to my family and cousins mourning his loss and celebrating his life. He touched many and will live on in our hearts
