ISAAC SCHWARTZ "Izzy" Isaac "Izzy" Schwartz, 91, of Boynton Beach, Florida formerly of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach, FL. He was the husband of sixty one years to Tylda (Golenpaul) Schwartz. Isaac was born in Fall River, the son of the late Hyman and Goldie (Cohen) Schwartz. Izzy graduated from BMC Durfee High School class of 1934, and then attended MIT in 1938, graduating with a degree in civil engineering. Mr. Schwartz served his country with the United States Army. Izzy worked with his father and four brothers at Schwartz & Sons in Fall River for over thirty years and was then owner of IZ Schwartz Appliance in Somerset for twenty eight years. He was a gentle-man, and an avid golfer, tennis and squash player. Survivors beside his wife are two daughters Ginny S. Lepow of Newton, MA; Susan Schwartz Livingston of Old Tappan, NJ; a brother Lester Schwartz of Tiverton, RI; seven grandchildren Joanna, Charles, Rebecca, Zachary, Molly, Aimee, and Leah; four great-grandchildren, Juliana, Joshua Barry, Mason, and Hudson. He was the father of the late Barry Michael Schwartz. His Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 4 at 12 Noon in Temple Beth El, 385 High St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend; burial to follow in Beth El Cemetery. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to Charity of One's Choice. Memorial Observance will be held at the home of Ginny S. Lepow 357 Centre St., Apt 2, Newton, MA on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 3 - 5 PM and 7 - 9 PM.
