Ismael Rodriguez Jr, 45, of Brownsville Texas, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014.

He Served in the US Army from 1989-2013. He was an U.S. Army Retired (Sgt.) who served in Panama Invasion, Desert Storm and 2 tours in Afghanistan.

He was preceded in death by his father Ismael Rodriguez Sr.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife, Rose Serrato Rodriguez; sons, Nathan Alexander Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Ismael Rodriguez III; and daughters, Isa Rodriguez, Alexa Rodriguez, Emily Rodriguez and Crystal Rodriguez and a grandson Josiah Rodriguez. Also to cherish many memories is Mr. Rodriguez mother, Dora Roel and siblings; Juan Jose Rodriguez, Alma Lorena Rodriguez and Mayra Rodriguez.

Visitation will begin from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the South Chapel of Treviño Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at St. Luke's Catholic Church with interment to follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission Texas.
