Ivan Zimmerman Obituary
Born in Keosauqua, Iowa, on Jan. 2, 1977, Ivan was the beloved son of Jane Haist and Joel Zimmerman. He is survived by his brothers, Samuel Zimmerman, Tobias Zimmerman, Philip Zimmerman, and sisters, Florence Zimmerman, Sarah Zimmerman, Esther Zimmerman, Hope Zimmerman, and Rose Zimmerman. He was also survived by his beloved dog Rukus.
Ivan was a mason, carpenter, gardener and hunter. He attended Cape Cod Technical High School in Harwich. He thoroughly enjoyed spinning music as renowned DJ Sirround Sound. He will be remembered fondly as a gifted and entertaining storyteller.
A memorial service will be held at 586 Bistro, Main Street, Hyannis, on Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. The interment is private.
A memorial fund has been established and contributions may be made out to Esther Zimmerman, P.O. Box 1112, South Dennis, MA 02660.

We had some good times back in the days of Cape Cod Tech. I'll never forget riding in that car you had that was all subwoofers and no back seat! You were a great guy and you will be missed. Until we meet again brother, rest in peace.

The Zimmerman family you have my deepest condolences on this unexpected tragedy. I got to know Ivan about 3 years ago and will always remember the good times but most importantly the great friend that he was. Ivan is a man who was always their for his buddies and would give the shirt off his back to help others in need. Ivan - you will be missed but your legacy will exist among us forever.
