Dear Karolyn,
My prayers are with you, as you and your family recover from the loss of Jack. I thought of you as I attended a piano recital here at Meadow Lakes in East Windsor where I recently retired.
May God be with you.

It was a privilege to have been a patient of Dr. Jack! He was SO kind, and never forgot anything.About 25 yrs after carpal tunnel surgery, we met and he asked if I still played the organ! What a wonderful man and family. My heart goes out to you Mrs. Grundfest! Most sincerely, Patricia Wild

My Dear Karolyn, This breaks my heart to know about Dr. Jack. He meant so much to our family and you took care of my children and me and us when John was transferred to Little Rock. I remember your visit when I had surgery at St. Vincent especially to tell my Mom I was doing fine.
I do not have the addresses for any of the places for Memoriums, so if you don't mind I will send them to you to forward and hope to see you on my next visit to N.J. Please accept my condolences to all your family. Love, Nancy Barton Tomosieski and Family

My prayerful condolences to the Grundfest families. My father, Leonard Wilson, grew up in Kearny and moved to West Orange in the early '50's. As a child, I remember him speaking very highly of Jack and "Philly" who I assume was his brother Phil. I believe either Jack or Phil cared for my grandmother at West Hudson Hospital decades ago. So thank you, Dr. Grundfest for your service to our country and for your service in medicine. God Bless.
