Jack D. Lott, 78, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on August 26, 2023, in Orem, UT. Born on August 16, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Jack was known for his kind and compassionate nature, always willing to lend a helping hand. He cherished spending time with his family and was a pillar of support for his three sons, Troy, Jody, and Travis. Jack is also survived by his ex-wife, Tamara, and his siblings Shelley, Lori, David, and Danny. His legacy lives on through his 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Before his passing, Jack served his country with honor and distinction. He dedicated 22 years of his life to the U.S. Army and the National Guard, reaching the rank of Sergeant. Jack's military associations were a significant part of his life, and he carried the values he learned during his service throughout his civilian life.

Following his military career, Jack excelled in his professional endeavors. He worked as a pipe fitter at Geneva Steel and as an electrician at the Utah State Hospital. Jack's dedication and expertise were highly regarded by his colleagues and those he served.

In his free time, Jack enjoyed various hobbies that brought him joy and relaxation. He loved exploring Fairview on his 4-wheelers, collecting coins and antiques, and, most importantly, spending quality time with his family. These activities allowed Jack to create lasting memories and foster deep connections with his loved ones.

A ceremony to honor Jack's life will be held September 14, 11am at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park located at 17111 South Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065. This final tribute will be a reflection of Jack's military service and the impact he had on the lives of those around him.
