Lucy and family, please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of an awesome gentleman. Jack's vast knowledge of Drawbacks material was huge and he always imparted such to the junior officers. He made me a better officer and I enjoyed working with him. Lucy I will remember my last phone conversation with him that was filled with much laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the honour and pleasure of working with Jack for a few years in the mid 1970's. I sat beside him in the office. Jack immediately took me under his wing and despite my shortcomings he managed to make me a competent employee. We did a lot of work but also had a lot of laughs by playing on our heritage. Jack was the only Italian in the office and I was the only Irish/Italian. To this day I am sure there are still people trying to unravel the mystery of the "bacala". I know Jack will be missed but you should live in the comfort of knowing your Husband, Father and Grandfather was a fantastic guy.
