PIAZZA, Jack - Passed away peacefully, on February 27, 2017 in his 84th year, with the love of his life, Lucy, by his side. Beloved husband to Lucy for 62 years. Loving father of Cher (Drew), Chris (John), Gregg (Debbie) and Mark. Dear Pops to Stephanie (Graham), Chantal (Josh), Michelle (Jason), Cara, Amanda (Dylan), Kim, Maddy, Lexi, Ryan and Nathaniel. Loving brother to Nick. Beloved son of the late Mary and Attilio. There are few people you meet in life that are truly one of a kind, something special. Our Pops was one of those people. He touched everyone he knew and you were a better person for knowing him. He had an easy, comfortable way about him that would immediately put people at ease. He also had such an infectious laugh and smile. From his special "Pops" handshake, to winking, to blowing kisses, he never failed to lift the mood of those around him. He was the most kind, sweet, gentle man. Jack loved everyone and everyone loved Jack, but most of all he loved his family, and he leaves a huge hole in all of our lives. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5th, 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke, ON, with Funeral Mass to be held on Monday, March 6th, 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 782 Browns Line, Etobicoke, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
