Jacqueline G. Coleman, 82, passed away Wednesday, August 20, at home. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death five months ago by her husband of 62 years, Wade Coleman.

Mrs. Coleman was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gordy of Louvale, GA. She graduated from Stewart County High School as STAR Student of her senior class. She attended the University of Georgia until her marriage. Along with her husband, she was the proprietor of Coleman's Grocery in Cusseta for over 60 years. Mrs. Coleman was an accomplished pianist, serving many years at her church and at local weddings and other events for 45 years.

Along with her husband and parents, Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by a beloved older brother, Ross Gordy, and two much-loved sisters, JoAnn Vincent and Gayle McBride.

Survivors include her children, Vanna Lynch (Hank) of Cusseta, Penny Kreutzberg (Lawrence) of Point Lookout, NY, and Wade Coleman Jr. (Lisa) of Cumming, GA; six grandchildren, Tip Lynch, Carly L. Kleinschmit (Eric), Isabel Kreutzberg, Caroline Kreutzberg, Olivia Kreutzberg, and Lia Coleman; and two great-grandchildren, Rose and Jacqueline Kleinschmit.

She is also survived by three sisters, Nann Folsom, Nell Andrews and Penny Wheeler.

The family will receive visitors at Cusseta United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with a memorial service to follow. An informal family service to lay her to rest will be held on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Louvale Church Row.
