GADDY, Jacqueline Mary "Jackie" (Conquest) Jacqueline Mary "Jackie" (Conquest) Gaddy, 73, of East Windsor, wife of the late Louis C. Gaddy, died peacefully after a lengthy illness, Friday, (May 18, 2007). Jackie was born in Hartford and lived in East Windsor for more than 40 years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family and yoga. She was a active member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of East Windsor. Her career included working as a telephone operator for SNET, a clerk with the city of Hartford and she retired as a telephone operator and typist at Connecticut State Receiving Home now Connecticut Children's Place. Jackie is survived by two sons, Charles Gaddy and Lawrence Gaddy; her daughter, Cinceray Madison; her grandchildren, Charles Q. Gaddy, Eugene Gaddy Jr., Tiffany Cooper Gaddy, Tina Marie Gaddy and Myles Madison and a host of extended family and friends. Jackie was predeceased by a son, Eugene Gaddy Sr.; a brother, Jackson Ross; an aunt, Frances Ross and a cousin, George Conquest. A Memorial service will be held Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 55 North Main St., East Windsor. Burial will be a the discretion of the family. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bassinger & Dowd Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor.
