Lehman, Jacqueline "Jackie"
(nee Gilmore), entered into rest on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Jackie was the beloved wife of the late Elmer Lehman; devoted aunt to Bob (Michelle) Gilmore and Tom (Debra) Gilmore; dear great-aunt, great-grand aunt, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolla and Helen (nee Gutweiler) Gilmore and her brother, Thomas (Caroline) Gilmore.
Jackie was born June 1,1928 in Saint Louis, Missouri. She graduated Southwest High School Class of 1946 and later attended school at Washington University. Jackie designed and sold high-end dresses on TV during the days of black and white television in the southwest United States. Upon returning to the Saint Louis area, she taught elementary school for many years in the Webster School District.
Jackie was a gifted artist, creating many paintings that are cherished by family, friends, and art lovers. She was outgoing, caring, feisty, spunky, funny, and elegant. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services: Visitation will be Friday, December 9, from 10-11 a.m. at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street Saint Louis MO 63109. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, 6901 Mackenzie Road, Affton, MO 63123.
