PREVOST, Jacques "Jake" 51 years, peacefully, on August 19, 2003 with his loving family at his side at his home in Tecumseh. Beloved husband of Gisele (nee Lanteigne). Loving father of Janet. Dear son of the late Jean and Helene Prevost (nee Lacasse) and dear son-in-law of Alphonse and Cecile Lanteigne (Fortier). Dear brother of Leon and wife Diane, of Tecumseh; Danielle and husband Pat Warankie; Richard and wife Lillian, all of Welland. Dear brother-in-law of Ron and wife Donna Lanteigne, Janet and Ron Bordynuik, Lise and husband John Buluing, all of Welland; Mark and wife Joanne Lanteigne, of Belle River and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Jake was a skilled tradesman in Niagara until 1994 and transfered as a pipe-fitter with Ford Motor Co. His passion for music and his gift of faith will leave their mark on the many he has touched in Tecumseh and Niagara. Jake's spirit will live on in his COR and Cursillo Families and in the St. Anne and St. Gregory Parishes. Visiting Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830). Visiting continues on Saturday, August 23, from 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Church (Tecumseh) until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Pat Fuerth will be the celebrant, Fr. Larry Brunet homilist and Fr. Robert Couture will concelebrate. A cremation will take place with an interment of cremated remains in Niagara. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Hospice of Windsor or to the St. Kevin Food Bank Social Justice Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Kevin's Church, 303 Niagara St., Welland L3C 1K5 would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jake Prevost in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 28, 2003. All are welcome.
