JAMAR GOLIGHTLY Obituary
Jamar was a gentle soul with a caring heart. He was a 2005 graduate of Petersburg High School and a former employee of Stamptech in Chester, VA.
Left to cherish many found and loving memories: his devoted mother, Renee Golightly; father, Eric Crump; uncles, Robert Golightly, Jr. (Shirl) of Dumfries, VA, Thomas Golightly of Petersburg, VA, and Dolan Patton of Norfolk, VA; a very devoted aunt, Audra Williams (Robert) of Lumberton, NC; devoted grandmother, Bernice Patton of Norfolk, VA; great aunt, devoted Mable Crump Turner of Petersburg, VA, Norma Lee David, Janie Smith, and Carolyn Blue, all of Baltimore, MD; great uncle, James Crump (Loretta) of Petersburg, VA; several cousins, two devoted cousins, Marc Crump and Roland Crump of Petersburg, VA, Robert Golightly IV (Amanda) of Manassas, VA, Ariel Golightly of Dumfries, VA, Dolan Mason, Jr. of Norfolk, VA, Brittany Batts and Brian Batts of Phoenix, AZTayla Golightly of Hopewell, VA, and Christina Taylor of Chesterfield, VA; and many devoted family and friends including: Mrs. Alfred Hill and family, Mrs. Wanda Wallace and family, Mrs. Venis Utsey and family, Kim Evans and family, and Tina Urquhart and family; special friends, Ke'Maya Lewis and Wayne "Pop" Batts, Jr.; and a host of many family and friends.
Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 800 Augusta Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Dr. Wesley K. McLaughlin, Pastor, eulogist. The interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
