I always and still talk about what an amazing father Randy was to his boys. Some of the finest children you would ever meet. So sad to hear about this

James was a hell of a man. I met him a few months back in Statesville and our love for sports and the Atlanta Braves made us instantly friends. I know James was blessed by the hand of Christ and heaven is a better place with him there. My prayers are with his children as he expressed his love for them on a daily bases. He shared so many stories with me. He was my friend. I will truly miss him.

Rando! Say it ain´t so, we had just texted each other!
Rando, you were a hoot. Whether it was playing golf or watching Univ of Mich vs Ohio State football or you referring me a legal case or having a beer at the medieval Renaissance Festival or enjoying watching your tv ads at car dealerships or talking politics, never a dull moment with your engaging mind. Thanks for being my friend for so many years.
I´ve ordered an eco/friendly tree to be planted in a national forest in need of one in honor of your legacy of helping others. Love ya!

Randy had the best quotes ever! I wish l could remember them all but one of my favorites was when he would use the example of how old he was. He would often say........I was there when Moby Dick was a minnow. Randy always made me laugh. He will be missed.

I loved my younger brother very much. He and I had a lot in common. Especially sports. Which he loved very much. I know he will always be missed and never forgotten. Couldn´t asked for any better as one of my brothers. Heaven has him now and I know he is in peace. Love Trip Adams
