I met Jay a couple of times shooting, and felt that I met a very genuine person, like his father, a jokester and a humble man. He will be missed greatly.

Sherry, Vince and I are here loving and praying for you. Your son was such a delightful guy. A man who would drive over to Mom's on Sunday afternoons to watch football games with her is someone very special.

I had the privilege of working with Jay at Outback. He was always ready with a joke or smile. He knew how to put everyone at ease and make everyone feel like he's known you forever. My favorite memories of Jay are his outrageous Halloween costumes. Jay would serve his tables all night not only in costume, but in character of whatever his costume was! He will be deeply missed. To Jay's family, I send my deepest sympathies. You should be proud, Jay was an amazing person! God bless!

Although I only had the privilege of meeting him on a few separate occasions, I can attest that Jay Beck was one of the sweetest, most charismatic and genuine people to ever cross my path on this earth. He was the epitome of a good Christian: kind, loyal and loving. Jay had an outrageous and zany sense of humor which kept his friends, family, customers, and any passerbys smiling and on the tip of their toes with anticipation of his next fun antic or clever statement. To say he lit up the room would be an understatement; rather, Jay flooded the room with his wit and good nature. While he enjoyed simple loves like cats, bikes, road trips and scrabble, he lived his life in a giant way, for he touched hundreds if not thousands of people during his path here. Jay Beck’s life set an example for how we all should treat one another. May his infectious smile or silly jokes never be forgotten, and may his family and friends heal as they remember all the smiles he gave them over the years. Rest In Peace Jay: you made the world a better place.

Tiffany (Mosher) introduced Jay to our family. I always needed advance notice if Jay was coming for a holiday gathering ....because I had to buy more food...lots of food. He fully enjoyed every bite and he was a joy to have around.
.....
A golden heart stopped beating
Your tender hands at rest,
God took you home to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Knowing you was one of the best blessings of my life. I'll always remember your humorous antics and playing around after church and you picking me up and spinning me around until I got dizzy. After all, we were teenagers...with no care in the world. Makes me chuckle every time I think of it and I can faintly remember your voice. Love you buddy. I'll see you someday.

The last time I saw Jay was about ten years ago, but remember him like it was yesterday. I was in his small group at ECC, and joined him on Wednesday's service.
I remember how happy he was, all of the time, how he always had a big smile on his face. He loved life, and seemed to enjoy every single moment. He was always warm and friendly to everyone, and really had a positive impact on those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.
You will be sorely missed, Jay.
My heart and prayers go out to his family.

I send my love and prayers to you. Today Jay, I celebrate life to the fullest in honor of you!

Our family is deeply saddened given the loss of your son. He, along with our son Josh and friends Henry and Keith bonded in a friendship while attending Coon Rapids High School together. Jay will always be remembered as a gracious and polite person to our family with a smile and a laugh that raised your spirit to a higher level. Knowing him and having shared a part in his life, will be fondly remembered by our family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and his extended family.
