James BROWN Obituary

BROWN, James A. 85, of Balm, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. A native of Sampson County, NC, he had resided here for 48 years coming from Bladen-boro, NC, and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his brother, Erwin T. Brown; and is survived by his wife, Genois; sons, Jimmy Brown, Sautee Nacoochee, GA, E.T. Brown, Balm, Greg Brown, Wimauma, and Tony Brown, Tallahassee; his daughters, Laverne Hewett, Riverview, and Rita Hopkins, Balm; sisters, Veda Angel, Hampton, VA, Loretta Lentz, Charlotte, NC, and Geraldine Ransom, Wilmington, NC; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grand-child. Funeral services will be held 2 pm, on Saturday, Nov. 16th, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery, Wimau-ma. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to LifePath Hospice. Please view and sign the online guestbook at: SouthernFuneralCare.com.
