Martha.
I was out of town when I heard about Jim. I didn't get back in town till late Monday. I will miss Jim. I also retired from ML and spent many a time with him. I was shocked to hear the news as He was at our MOWW Meeting last month and the Quarter Century dinner. If there is anything I can do to help let me know. Geary Mason @ ML has my contact numbers.

Marta, Lo sieto mucho!! Jim was so much an influence on my carreer. We were so much alike. I am so glad that I was able to see him and visit with him at the 25th Century Club on Oct 10th He sat next to me and I walked him to his car( a new car for him,Ithink a @2006 Jauguar-reminiscent of his old cars) We wer e"parlor" buddies" and compadres. I will miss him SO MUCH , as I always looked forward to seeing him each and every year at the ML function. I hope that YOU are feeking OK because Jim said that you were in the Hospital for problems I will not go into, but I hope you are doing well under the circumstances. I am in Georgia and will not be there for the services, but I will be thinking of you and the ADMIRAL in the forseeable future My sympathies for you and my longtime friend. Steve Kern

Martha:
I am so sorry to read of Jim's passing. He was such a very nice, friendly and warm person. He was always otimistic and inspiring. I never saw him when he was down. All my old friends from the Jefferson YMBC are gone, Jim, Paul Dastugue, etc.
Barbara and I express our deepest sorrow to you and your children.
