Jeff, Renee and family,
May the love of family comfort you in the days ahead.
We were deeply saddened to hear of our brothers passing.
As children we have fond memories growing up on Joan Drive and our weekend trips with dad to the mountains.
Though the years distanced us the bond of love is eternal.
Rest In Peace Jimmy.

Gary Lenkner

Well buddy, it looks like this is goodbye. You were a one of a kind. You had a knack of being able to talk to anyone. Not many people could do that but you did it with ease. When I first met you I felt that I have known you forever. I thought to myself that Patti made a great choice for her life partner. You gave her a lot of good times while you were together. I won't forget the times the we were able to spend with the two of you. You were part of our family. You were the luckiest person I ever met and you would bet on everything. I couldn't keep up with you when it came to beer drinking, you were the champ. I will miss the blank stare that you would give me when I said something that you did not understand. It was priceless. You had the best level headed personality of anyone I ever knew. Never to high and never to low. I wish that we could have had more time together, you were too young to have this happen. When it's my time to go I will look for you. You can take me to some new bars and I can meet some of your new friends. Rest in peace brother.

It is with deepest regrets to hear of Culby's passing as we just saw him the prior Friday. Will always remember him for his Hawaiian shirts & beaming smile! Life is too short (& I am disappointed I never got to give him a fancy, wild printed shirt from my father, that I thought he would've liked to wear! At least to see his reaction!) Miss ya' Culby, from a Shafton neighbor.

I had the honor of working with Jim at SCIP. He was one of the best guys to have around. As a shift commander, he was my go to guy with maintenance questions. But he was much more. Always soft spoken, quiet, and constantly smiling. Whenever there was a "trouble" call, all the officers (gray shirts) would run to the incident, and often times there'd be that tall guy in khakis (the maintenance uniform )right in the middle of the pack. Jim always had our backs. That showed in his commitment to the community too, and I always enjoyed running into him on Irwin's main street, or at the Grille...he will be missed
