JAMES D.
Age 88, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of New Sewickley Twp., died peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2018. Born April 26, 1929, son of James and Josephine (Toromina) DeFilippo. Mr. DeFilippo will be lovingly remembered for his love of golf, bowling, and Pittsburgh Sports. Beloved husband of Norma J. (Agostini) DeFilippo, whom he married on November 12, 1955; loving father of James M. (Sherry) DeFilippo, Janet DeFilippo, Beth (Kurt) Hackmann; dear grandpap of Jason (Diane) Casavale, Andrea DeFilippo, Kristen Casavale (Ryan Aubuchon), Michael DeFilippo, Mia Hackmann, and the late James A. DeFilippo; great- grandpap of Luca James Casavale. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Charles Bober. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. I am sorry for your loss my deepest sympathy to your family, Jimmy was my first boss when my dad got me my first barber job, I have great memories of him. He taught me the business well and always trusted me when he took time off for golf. He was a great boss and very good to me. May he rip.

To the Family Of Jimmy DeFilippo,
I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Jimmy. He was such a great guy and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He used to golf with our neighbor Jack who lived next door to me growing up. He was such a kind man. God grant you all the strength in the coming days to get through this and may he be at peace with Our Dear Lord now.
