James Harris

James Daniel "Jimmy" Harris, age 48, passed away on July 12, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland. Born on July 17, 1976, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Jimmy brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Jimmy was a man of deep faith and conviction. As a proud Muslim, he found strength and guidance in reading the Quran and held his religion close to his heart. His spiritual devotion was a cornerstone of his life and a source of comfort to those around him.

Known for his warm personality and infectious sense of humor, Jimmy had a gift for lighting up any room he entered. His presence was magnetic-whether through a well-timed joke or a heartfelt conversation, he left people smiling. He was deeply loved by many and will be remembered for the laughter he shared so freely.

Jimmy had a natural talent for fixing things around the house. Whether it was repairing something broken or improving what already worked, he took pride in using his hands to make life better for those around him. But more than anything else, Jimmy cherished time spent with children. He was often surrounded by them-his own and others-offering guidance, playfulness, and love in equal measure.

He is survived by his devoted wife Christina Harris; his beloved mother Amber Berner; and his brother Billy Harris. Jimmy's legacy lives on through his children: Kristina Bell, Hayley Harris, Joshua Harris, Destinie Harris, Justin Harris, Matthew Harris, Sean Harris, Kayden Harris, Kaleb Harris, Karsen Harris, and Kai Harris. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. In addition to immediate family members, Jimmy is remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who were touched by his kindness and spirit.

Last August marked the heartbreaking loss of Jimmy's best friend and brother Christopher Harris. The family finds solace in knowing that the two are now reunited.
