James Huckaba

James Huckaba, age 77, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013.
Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 19, 6-9 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug. 20, 11 a.m. at Faith Church, Florence, with Brother Henry Melton and Brother Marvin Huckaba officiating. He will lie in state one hour before the service. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be various family members.
Mr. Huckaba enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching western movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nora Huckaba.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Huckaba, of Sheffield; daughter, Janet Alexander (Clyde), of Florence; son, James David Huckaba (Charlotte), of Florence; daughters, Debbie (Arnie), of Lexington, Christina (Keith), of Florence, Stephanie (Jay), of Killen; Sherry (Clark), of Florence; Sandra, of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Delmar Huckaba, of Town Creek, Johnny Huckaba (Virginia), of Texas, Elmer Huckaba (Stella), of Texas, Ted Huckaba (Sherry), of Danville, Ala.; sisters, Betty Presley, of Russellville, Shirley Nix (Dale), of Russellville, Mildred Keil (David), of Russellville, and Peggy Smith (Robert), of Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Terry, James, Justin, Janna, Destiny, James C, Donald, James T, Tiffany, Taylor, Darian, Brandon, Jason, Corey, Cody, Mary, Steven and Erica; and numerous great-grandchildren.
