James King Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 8, 2025.
James I. King Jr, age 64, passed away Tuesday morning, August 5, 2025 while driving home from work. While we are heartbroken to lose our husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to so many... We know that he is in Heaven and working on a project in a most spectacular workshop that the Lord had prepared for him.

He is survived and missed by his wife, Debra King and by his children, Kristina Baugh (Justin), Jessica King Carpenter (Shawn), Matthew King (Meshca), Felicia Taylor (Kelly), Matthew Misuraca, Karina Misuraca (David), his siblings Jeff King, Jerilyn Ellis, Julie King, and Jonathan King (Stephanie) and many many grandchildren. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will all miss him so very much.

His parents went to heaven before him, James and Julia Ann King along with aunts and uncles and grandparents who are now having a big family reunion.

An informal celebration of Jimmy's life will be at 4 PM Saturday, August 9, 2025 at a family home located at 326 Sanctuary Park Dr., Summerville, SC 29486.

Friends and family are welcome.

Mr. King, was a kind soul, a person who took pride in his work, and quietly showed great leadership with his high character and integrity. It was a pleasure to have worked with him these past few years and I will miss the positivity and willing spirit he brought to work daily. Sincerest condolences to the family, and may Mr. King rest in peace.
