James H. Lanphier

Jim Lanphier 65, Cloverdale, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on April 4th, 2008. He was born July 9, 1942, in Indianapolis to Robert and Dorothy Lanphier. He retired from Consolidated Freightways, and was formerly employed with Stokely Van Camp, and Acme Machine and Tool He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He always enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jim (Pa) is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Frances, four daughters, and one son, Lisa Lanphier, Kim Fulkerson (Chris), Bonita Murphy (Pat), Jamie Lanphier (Stacy), and Holly Glaze (Chad). He also had eight grandkids, Katie, Alyssa, Aaron, Wil, Corbin, Audrie, Evan, and Lilly. Also surviving are a brother and sister, Bob and Judy Lanphier, sister-in-law Sharon Davis (Larry), nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center Decatur Township on Monday, April 7, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. Service will be held at the Funeral Center on Tuesday, April 8 at 11 am.
