I will miss James with sadness and with joy. I was blessed to have known him and to have had him in my life for such a long time. We would spend many evenings in my sauna trying to understand the meaning of life and God. We would attack the slopes of Whistler and holiday on his beloved Maui. James was a contratiction at times with his brilliant ideas that only he could understand with his genius mind and then have trouble with the simplest things sometimes. I love him no less though because that was James. I miss him already and will carry him in my heart forever.

It is with Great saddness to hear of James passing, I will surely miss him.I have known him for a few years, and thought he was great harmoica Blues player.
I was an Elder that gave him songs we sang in the sweat lodge, and on the pow wow drum for the down town community.
I know he Loved his Children very Much.
I will pray for them during my weekly Sweat Lodge Ceremonies and for James' travel back to his Ancestors, and Great Spirit

Hello Linda, & family,
I heard the new from Mom. Tom & I will be there on Thursday
wearing bright colours.
I have been thinking non-stop of Jimmy since I heard the news.
He was a fun loving, innocent at heart.
I was helping out with a free lunch at Harbour Light a couple of years ago
Life had become not so fun. Now at last he will be getting some peace.
Love Myra
