Jimmy Collins and family
July 12, 2010
To the McIsaac Family,
A prayer for you and Jimmy. Though infrequent, it was 'old home week' whenever we ran into each other. I am so sad to hear of his untimely death and apologize for being unable to pay him respect in person today. And to Billy Irvin, a prayer for his best friend, as well.

Barbara, Kelly, Jimmy and Erin,
I am heartbroken to hear about the loss of Jim, he was such a great man and I'll always remember his humor and how he made my mother laugh. She spoke the world of him and was like a member of the family to her and my dad. He'll be missed so much by so many. Please know I am thinking and praying for you all.

Please accept my deepest and sincere condolences. Jimmy was a student at Charlestown High School during my days as a teacher there. I saw him a couple of weeks ago while walking down School Street. He waved from the other side of the street and said hello. It had been many years since I last saw him, but when I did, his name came immediately to me. I easily remembered him because he was a special kind of guy.

How lucky where we to have a person to come into our family and truely be one of us. My sister was a very lucky lady to have had a man like you who loved her so much. The Doherty family has lost such a special brother in law, uncle and great uncle and you will be so missed. May you rest in peace and always know how much we loved you.

Barbara, Erin, Kelly and Jimmy; I am heartbroken and am at a loss for words to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Big Jimmy was a great man, and I'm sure, a better father and husband. He will be sorely missed, but the memories of him will keep him with us always. May he rest in eternal peace, and always keep a watchful eye over his family. God Bless.
