James Rodriguez Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 22, 2024.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Rodriguez, who left this world on April 21st, 2024 at the age of 35.

James was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A brilliant mind with a gentle soul, James had a passion for good literature, science, and a knack for understanding life's greatest complexities.

A graduate of Royse City High School and Southern Methodist University, James was an extraordinary intellect whose enthusiasm for learning never wavered.

He could always be counted on to answer the phone, and would spend hours talking about anime, chemistry or the last great novel he had read.

James is survived by his loving mother Tina Walters, father Jim Walters and siblings Natalie, Lisa, Ciara, Caitrin and Blaine, who will forever cherish the memories they share together.

He will be remembered for his effortless intellect, quiet thoughtfulness, and steadfast loyalty.

A private celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 27th.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the JPS Foundation at https://www.jpshealthnet.org/foundation

James was someone I could only call a brother. Growing up together and the countless memories I will always cherish. Even after he moved we still chatted often with each other. James was a brilliant man. He had an avid passion for learning and loved sharing the knowledge he gained. I will greatly miss James as he was as I said someone I would call brother. Love you James I hope there are endless books, manwa, and Manga for you.

Although I did not know James for long just in the short period I did ,I could see his kind soul . He showed me around my new job we were both working at ,and would help me with any questions I had .He would tell me stories for hours long about his time in the military and his love for writing stories and so many other things that would make me laugh even when he wasn't trying to make me .You will be missed james , I'm glad I got to know you even if it wasn't for long . I am so sorry . Sending my condolences.
