Jim and I worked together at Wallace Transportation in the office and trucking together. He introduced
me to his sister Marie, who is still my wife of 32 years. Jim's passion in life was being on the road in a big rig. He would eventually end up buying one of his own. We spent countless hours riding together. The stories he could tell years later about our adventures on the road together were priceless .I am honored to have been his friend and brother in law. I will miss our time together. RIP, BJ, love Chuck

When I was pretty young we all went to the snow... I slid down the hill and flipped, landing on my tailbone... needless to say I was a bit hurt... I remember my Uncle Jimmy being the first person to run down that snowy hillside to make sure I was okay! That´s just the kind of guy he was.
I also remember many times playing, at what I call, the chicken farm... I loved it there.

I Met James (Jim to me) My first day of High School, we were in line to get our classes with David Hickman, I was between them and they were already old friends! Without going into details, Jim & I had many adventures together riding around in his old 57'? Buick (what a car!) & worked together different times, Splitting Wood with his Uncle, & I joined Him on many Truck Loads to LA/City of Industry unloading 25 & 50 lb bags of rice from a set of doubles! and even helped clean Rocha's Cattle Trucks & Trailers a few times, "Our road Song" was "Stuck in the Middle with you" by Steelers Wheels..Those years are all very Fond memories for me! Rest in Peace Jim, I'll see You on the other side!

I had the pleasure of working with BJ for 10 years at Gordon Trucking. BJ was a funny , tenacious, intelligent, compassionate & boy did he know Trucking, inside & out ! I learned so much from him. He was passionate & driven. He had such incredible dedication to his work but always held his faith & family first & foremost. We are incredibly proud to call him a great friend. Until we meet again, travel safe & legal all the way to those pearly gates
