Wally! What a great man. I loved working for Jim and to honest, I loved him. I see him vividly in my mind today. I worked for Jim along with Bill and Augie and Steve. AND sometimes Gregg. I've been wondering about him lately. I disappeared in 1987 and never saw him again. But I never forgot him. One of the things I will remember about him, was how much he loved his wife. I never met her, but he always talked about her. I think she was his greatest achievement. Greg, was a person I really liked. I think he left to go to Chicago. I know Greg has turned out well. I was looking for Greg on facebook to see how he was when I ran into all of this. Please accept my deepest condolence for your loss and know that Jim had at least 1 fan in this world, although I suspect he had many more.

My sympathies on the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. Jim was my second cousin through my Aunt Lil, his grandmother, and my grandmother's (Tillie) sister-in-law. He was a dependable mechanic for my first real car, my 1960 Chevrolet, and I believe he made the contact for me to purchase it about 1966 or so. His parents were not only related through Aunt Lil's marriage to Uncle Augie, but also good friends of my parents, Marvin and Eleanor Keck. May God's Promise be a comfort to you.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Remember good times playing around the neighborhood on Marne Ave. as kids with Jim and his brother, Jerry.

May they both rest in peace.
