Jim and his sister, Virginia, were significant friends as we grew up in Brookline on Norabell Ave. I lived two doors up from their house. Thoughts of him explaining that “turkey “ wasn’t such a long word; he was in 4th grade at the time.

I lived two doors down on Norabell st. from Jim. I was always in his house,or playing in the front st. with him and Virginia. His whole family were wonderful people. I'll miss Jim a lot. My memories of him are wonderful. I have a picture of him riding down Norabellon his sled in 1948.

Jim was one of my best friends from the age of 8--14. I was a year older than him and lived on Sageman St. behind Jim's home --3 or 4 houses up the street. Those childhood years were great times with him, sometimes at Joe's "cabin" on the Allegheny, hanging out on his Norabell St. back porch, or spending the summer day swimming at Moore Park. Jim's friendship made those childhood years all the more memorable.
My deepest sympathy,
