Jane Ann Ehrlich, 77, passed away on June 13, 2024, in Tarzana, California. Born on July 18, 1946, in Topeka, Kansas, Jane's early years were spent in Dodge City where she enjoyed athletics particularly gymnastics, and swimming. As an adolescent, she became accomplished in competitive level tennis. She also had a deep appreciation for music, particularly piano.

After attending some college, Jane began her career at the Kansas Department of Revenue in Topeka. She later moved to California to be closer to her sister's family. Jane worked at the Federal Customs Office in Los Angeles until her early retirement due to lifelong neurological issues.

Jane is lovingly remembered by her sister, Judy Mann, and brother, Jeff Ehrlich, as well as her six nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ann Ehrlich, and her older brother, John Ehrlich.

A memorial service was held at St. Mel Parish in Woodland Hills, California; burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City, Kansas. Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

My first and last impression : Jane had twinkling expressive brown eyes and a wonderful sense of humor and she was quick to laugh. I last saw her in Tarzana and it was like we were in high school again. My sincerest condolences to her family. Her St. Francis Academy family will mourn her passing.

My condolences to Jane's family and friends. I went to high school with Jane at St. Francis Academy. It's been a while that she came to KC but I took her and Judy to lunch. We had a great visit! Jane always had a great sense of humor. May she Rest in the Peace of our Good Lord!

I remember Jane playing tennis in Dodge City and playing with me while our parents would play bridge in the evening. Sally Mann Cauble
