Jane Harrouff

Jane Harrouff, age 90, passed away at Maple Crest Care Centre in Belvidere, IL on June 28,2022.

Jane was born an identical triplet in Chicago in 1932 to Henry and Agnes {Riedel} Parisek. The proud parents received a letter of congratulations from the then President, Herbert Hoover. Jane grew up outside Chicago with nine siblings in a small rural home. Her childhood was captured in the Chicago newspapers, as they were the first identical triplets born there in forty years. The last newspaper story was on their 50th birthday celebration in Elgin.

In 1953 Jane married Kenneth "Pete" Harrouff. Together they raised six children in the Hampshire area, and attended Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Jane was blessed to be Grandmother to 18, and Great Grandmother to 25, with expectations of many more being added to her family tree.

She is survived by her six children; Barb {Dale} Bein of Union, Pam {John} Lowry} of Elgin, Sharon {Mike} Keller of Rockford, Karen {Roger} Ray of Rockford, Kenneth {Vicki} Harrouff of Genoa, Jeff {Kelly} Harrouff of Aledo and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and in 1984, her husband. Also two infant grandchildren, Michelle Ray and Joshua Harrouff, and son in law, John Lowry, her siblings, five brothers, Donald, Henry, Frank, Robert, Jerome and four sisters, Dorothy Morton, Virginia Pasholk, and her triplet sisters, Jean Eaton and Joan Pasholk.

Janes' ashes will be buried beside her husband at the Doty Cemetery in Hampshire.
