Beloved mother, wife, sister and friend died in Richmond, VA, on November 27, 2016, at the age of 58. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ariel Koris; husband, Clark Irwin; brother, Gordon Bass; sister-in-law, Nancy Bass; extended Koris and Irwin families, and her many friends. After high school in Marion, VA, Jane followed her passion for acting and comedy at ETSU, where she was awarded Actress of the Year. She went on to the National Shakespeare Company and ended up in Richmond to pursue her Master's Degree at VCU, while forming an improv comedy group in her spare time. She than began a very successful career in radio advertising which lead to her trail blazing expertise of Consumer Marketing in the food industries of Pittsburgh and Richmond with the companies Acosta and Supervalu. Jane was very generous and kind to all, mentoring those in need of a job, volunteering at Wounded Warriors and Feed More, and feeding Thanksgiving dinners to the homeless. She had a smile that would light up a room and was a friend the moment she met you. Her sense of fun and adventure was infectious resulting in lifelong memories for those that knew her. There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Virginia Rep's Children's Theatre at Willow Lawn, 1601 Willow Lawn Dr., Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richmond SPCA.
