Jane Prebit Obituary
Jane moved to Atlanta in the early 1990's and eventually earned her nursing degree at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, GA and went on to be a Nurse at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA. Jane loved the outdoors and loved to visit the various gardens in North Georgia and the Atlanta area. Jane also enjoyed road trips with her children to Wisconsin and Florida to visit family in addition to trips to Tennessee.
Jane is survived by her children Evan of Canton, GA, Ava of Acworth, GA and her siblings Cynthia Wheeler of Gulf Breeze, FL, Scott Wheeler of Adell, Anne Redmond of Fredonia, John (Caroline) Wheeler of Oconomowoc, Robert Wheeler of Milwaukee, Richard Wheeler of Alpharetta, GA, Jean (Derek) Berg of Campbellsport and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Ione and her brother William.
Visitation will be held between 3-4PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 4PM on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at Calvary Church (1110 E. Decorah Rd. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor Jerry Michaelson presiding.

We´ve known Jane for more than 20 years and always enjoyed her company, her kindness, her quick wit - and, of course, her delicious creative cakes. We´ve spent countless New Year Eves with her, and she even visited us in Copenhagen! Through the years, we´ve cherished the fact that Jane was Tommie´s good friend! We will always remember Jane, and we´ll miss her very much.

In 2013 Jane and I started working at Northside Hospital in the OR/PACU residency. Then we both wound up together at an outpatient facility for Northside. She was one of the kindest people that I have ever met. She was a very hard worker and a great team player. I considered her as one of my very good friends and I was blessed to have known her.

Jane and I meet at maternity fitness when we were both pregnant with our boys. Through the years we celebrated many "Cookie Days" and New Year´s Eves together. Her role as Baker-in-chief or Jane Dough is going to be missed. What great times we´ve had together going on mini trips with the kids.
