Jane Roby Obituary
Charlottesville - Jane Cordelia Roby, 74, passed away on July 2, 2018 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She was born March 31, 1944 in Staunton, daughter of the late Percy and Virginia Roby, former Director of Nursing at King's Daughters' Hospital.
She is survived by a number of cousins.
The Family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Mrs. Helen Jordan, who was so kind and helpful when Jane lost both parents at an early age; Ritenour Rest Home, her home for many years; Mr. Kenneth Copeland of VCSB; Mrs. Moats and Mrs. Hewitt: and the Staff of Henry Funeral Home.
Also, special appreciation is extended to UVA 6th Floor Neuro ICU for care and compassion shown to Jane and the Family.
There will be no visitation or formal service. Following cremation, she will be laid to rest beside her parents in Thornrose Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Henry Funeral Home.

Jane was one of our neighbors when my family and I moved to High Street (Staunton) in the 1960's. Jane was very sweet and friendly. It saddens me to think that when she moved away, I never saw her again. I am so glad that I got to meet Jane! She will be very sadly missed.
