Jane Wynn Obituary

WYNN Mrs. Jane Miller Wynn passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2002. Born March 21, 1911, she was a long-time resident of Jacksonville. Mrs. Wynn was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert S. Wynn M.D., her sister, Lucille Rick and her father, Henry G. Miller, founder of Miller Electric Company where Mrs. Wynn served as Executive Vice President until her retirement. She leaves behind two nephews, Norman Rick and Kevin Rick, a host of friends, and her Miller Electric Family who will remember her always with the love and admiration she inspired in everyone who had the privilege to know her and work with her. Many charitable and community organizations were benefactors of Mrs. Wynns philanthropic kindness, including St. Vincents and Riverside Foundations, Catholic Charities, Boys Hope, Boys Home Association, Big Brothers, Vision is Priceless Council, just to name a few. Visitation will be held from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home at 729 South Edgewood Avenue, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mrs. Wynn at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning at St. Pauls Catholic Church, where Mrs. Wynn was a member for many years, located at 2609 Park Street. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery at 4535 N. Main Street. Pallbearers will be Bill Mouro, Hugh Powell, John Bishop, Ed Witt, Sr., Bill Gothard, Ron Autrey, Ray Walden and Buz Livingston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Wynn to Vision is Priceless Council at 1820 Barrs Street, Suite 546 Jacksonville, FL 32204, St. Vincents Foundation at P.O. My mom and dad were friends of Mrs. Wynn's. Our prayers are with your family. My daddy ,Jimmy Bell died a few yrs ago and so did my brother,Ralph Bell. They were in the electrical business too. She is in heaven now with her husband.
