Janet E. Hose
Jan. 17, 1919 - June 25, 2021
Resident of Cupertino, CA
With great sadness the family of Janet Hose, 102, announces her passing on June 25, 2021. Janet was born on January 17, 1919, in Havana, IL. At age 6 years, the family moved to St. Augustine, FL and she lived there until 1946. She graduated from Florida State College for Women in 1940 with a BS degree in Commerce. After graduation she was employed as a secretary to a group of doctors. In 1942, she was employed by the National Park Service until her marriage in 1947 to Richard K. Hose. Janet was dedicated to her family, loved doing needle crafts, sewing and was a great cook. When her husband was alive, they traveled to Europe, South America, and enjoyed many cruises.
Janet is survived by her sister Frances Moorhouse, sons Kenneth, William, her daughter Suzanne, granddaughters Denise and Janet and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Richard, her beloved husband.
Details are pending on a Celebration of Life later this summer.
