Janice Beauchamp Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 21, 2016.
Janice M. (Viggiano) Beauchamp
of Deerfield; 55

DEERFIELD -- Janice M. (Viggiano) Beauchamp, 55, passed away December 20, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a battle with breast cancer.

She lived in Deerfield, N.H. since 2005, Auburn, N.H. from 1994-2005 and Manchester, N.H. from 1993-1994.

She was the wife of Paul W. Beauchamp, employed at J.P. Noonan Trucking in Hooksett, N.H. and married him on July 31, 1993 in Manchester, N.H.

Janice was born in Lowell, MA on February 16, 1961. She was the daughter of Rose (Marzullo) Viggiano and the late James D. Viggiano, who passed in 1996. Her siblings included her brothers, James V. Viggiano of East Boston, MA, John Viggiano of Milford, NH, Michael Viggiano of Nashua, N.H. and her sister, Nancy DeBona of Atkinson N.H. Also survived by several nieces, a nephew, grandnieces & grandnephews. Janice also cared for her beautiful pet cockatiel, Toby for 30 years. Sadly he was put to sleep in 2013 which Janice said was the hardest thing she had to do.

Janice attended Lowell Public Schools and in her early years was a member of the Sacred Heart Band where she twirled the baton & played the glockenspiel. She traveled to New York City every year to march in the St. Patrick's Day parade until 1979. Janice graduated from Lowell High School in 1979 and later attended the Greater Lowell Vocational Tech Nursing program, where she received her L.P.N. Nursing license in 1983. She was also Nursing Class Treasurer. She worked primarily caring for the geriatric population in the Lowell, MA and Manchester, NH area. In 2001 Janice opened her own nursing agency, Overnight Staffing LLC and operated that for close to 10 years. In her recent nursing career before her illness, she worked as a per diem nurse at Riverwoods in Exeter, NH until October, 2015.

While married to her husband Paul, they spent a year & a half renovating their family camp into a year round home on Northwood Lake in Deerfield, NH. It is here Janice was at peace. She enjoyed boating, swimming, cookouts with friends, watching the loons and their chicks, feeding the ducks & bird watching. Janice also enjoyed telling many jokes & loved to make people laugh so much so that her secret dream was to become a stand-up comedian. She also enjoyed crafting and music.

Janice would also like to let everyone know how wonderful her husband was to her before and after coming down with cancer, caring for her better than some nurses she knew. She told people she was truly in great hands. They were best friends.

BEAUCHAMP -- Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, December 22nd from 4 to 7 P.M. in the Epsom Bible Church, 398 Black Hall Rd. in Epsom. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Church on Friday, December 23rd at 11 A.M. Burial will take place in the spring in Deerfield. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the N.H. Audubon Society, Attn: Annual Fund, 84 Silk Farm Rd., Concord, NH 03301. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home in Epsom. Dear Paul, it is with a very heavy heart I send you my condolences. I am sad that I never had the chance to meet Janice I know I would have loved her. While reading her obituary I could not help but cry because she was obviously a wonderful woman that will be truly missed. I know there isn't much I can do or say that would help, but hopefully just knowing my sorrow and love goes out to you and all of Janice's family and friends will help. Don't hesitate to ask if you can think of anything you need.
I am sure she is grateful for your love and support through this awful battle she had here on this earth, but I know she is in a wonderful place and will be there to greet you when your time comes. Keep your memories alive and well and she will always be with you to get you through the tough times and she will smile during the good times. Take care and God bless....Janice
