Janice A. Weaver

Janice Annette Weaver, age 69 of Gary,In, born on December 4,1955. She peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on April 22, 2025. Janice was raised in Gary and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1974. Her life was a shining example of faith, love, and compassion. Janice accepted Christ as her Savior during her teenage years and remained a Faithful servant of the Lord throughout her life. She was a beacon of strength and joy, known for her warm spirit, festive energy, and her unwavering dedication to caring for others. Her laughter, encouragement, and presence touched everyone around her Family, friends, and fellow residents. Janice was proceeded in death by her loving parents, Ollie and Lena Weaver, her Adopted mother, Elnora Jones, her aunt Sarah Harvey, and her beloved life partner Adell White. Janice's memory lives on through her loving children, Channie and Glen Weaver, her four grandchildren, Davon, DyNisha, Desaray, and Khalil Weaver, and her six great-grandchildren, Kennedi, Kaavia, Dayvon, Aubrey, Railynn, and Riley. She is also survived by her siblings; Bobby, Terry, Jerry, Olivia Law and Gloria, her lifelong best friends Regina and Richard Lawson, and Linda Rivera; and her special bonus mother Hattie Neely.
