Janie Steir Obituary
Shrewsbury - Janie R. Steir, 75, died Monday, April 21, 2014 surrounded by her loving family in Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab at Westborough.
Janie leaves two children, Stephen C. Steir of Hopkinton and Susan L. Porter of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren.
Janie's wishes were that her funeral services be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab at Westborough c/o Activities Fund, 5 Colonial Drive, Westborough, MA 01581.

We just heard about Janie. We are at a loss for adequate words to express our sadness. All we can say is that we are so so sorry. Janie was a good friend and great neighbor and has been and will be missed. You and your family are in our thoughts.

Dear Susie and Stephen, I am absolutely heartbroken to learn of Janie's passing. Janie was a very special woman who had the ability to laugh in the face of difficult times. I will carry her memory in my heart as long as I live and cherish our good times together. I know how devastating Janie's passing must be to you both of you. There are no words of comfort at this time. I hope you will always remember her wonderful sense of humor, and the memories she left behind.
