JONES _ Janis Anne Martin February 3, 1954 - April 6, 2005 Cherished wife of Cecil Frank Jones of thirty-one years passed away peacefully at Lethbridge Hospital on April 6, 2005 at the young age of 51. Janis, a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter, is survived by her husband Cecil, and her six children, son Bradley Jay (Brenda) Jones, daughters, Lonnie Lee Jones, Merrie-Louise (Chris) Dyck, Donna-Marie (Steve) Cann, Sarah Anne Jones, Jennifer Lynn Jones. Janis had four lively grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Dalen, and Jacob. Also survived by her father Ernest Martin; brother Michael (Deborah) Martin; sister Ruth (Chriss) Milner; in-laws Sydney and Doreen Jones; and sister-in-law Cheryl (Leonard) Dennis. She was predeceased by her mother Edith Martin on April 1, 2005. Janis was passionate about her family and cared deeply about each person that she knew. She enjoyed learning, music, gardening and devoted her life to her husband and children. Her fine example has inspired and enlightened many. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and willingness to serve God and her fellow man. It is a sudden loss and Janis will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Friends may meet the family at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Parkland Stake Centre, 14540 Parkland Boulevard S.E., Calgary, Friday, April 8, 2005 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Wendell Shumway officiating. Interment in the Hill Spring Cemetery, Hill Spring, Alberta at 4:15 p.m. SALMON FUNERAL HOME, Cardston, assisting the family. Telephone: 1-403-653-3844.

My deepest condolences to you all in this sudden loss. My stay in Midnapore ward several years ago was very brief, but I remember Janis and how warm and friendly she was. She will be missed. I wish you peace and comfort.
