Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 13, 2014.
Jason A. Bruno, 37, of Bedminster, N.J., beloved and cherished son of Anthony and Jennifer Bruno, Warren, N.J., went with the angels on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, while at home. A viewing will be held on Wednesday at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, N.J., from 8 to 10 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Chapel, Warren, N.J. Jason was a 1995 graduate of Immaculata High School in Somerville, N.J., where he played varsity soccer and tennis. He then attended Raritan Valley Community College, where he majored in fitness training. Jason was the founder and proprietor of Body Creations, a personal training enterprise that specialized in helping and guiding clients in achieving their personal fitness goals. He was especially proud of helping his many clients attain a lasting routine for their personal best in fitness and health. Along with his keen interest in body building and personal training, Jason could also be found frequently mountain biking with friends on the Somerset County Park biking trails. Along with mountain biking, Jason loved the shore, and particularly Cape May, where he would body surf for hours with his family and friends. He also continued to play tennis and would sometimes compete in local tournaments. He was a huge fan of Florida State football and the New York Giants. Along with his loving parents, he is survived by his loving brother, Daniel Bruno, and sister-in-law, Christa Bruno of Bridgewater, N.J.; his nephew, Alex Bruno; and niece, Isabella Bruno; his loving aunt and godmother, Patricia Sandle of Spring Lake, N.J.; his loving uncle, Henry Sandle of Spring Lake; his aunt, Josephine Cibiliew of Vineland, N.J.; dear and loving friends, Vincent and Diane Macri of Warren, N.J.; his loving companion, Erica Milnor, and his canine companion, Sampson.

Jason was my neighbor since I moved to the Hills. He helped me out a few times. Being from Immaculata High I know having a catholic mass for a funeral is a powerful prayer so I have a lot of hope for him
