Jason was my roommate in 2013. I'm Larry, sad to hear Jason passed. I'm the one who took the picture that is showing.

Jason will always have a special place in my heart. My family and I loved that kid like he was blood and I am both privileged and humbled for all the incredible memories I have with him. It is still so hard to understand his mortal life is over but now he has the chance to fly high, free, and be with all those waiting. Fly high my sweet prince, you are loved

So sorry to hear of Jason's death. I remember him being so young in Enoch, when him and Hank would play. Allison and Richard and family, we send our deepest sympathy.

Our hearts are broken for Richard and Allison and all of Jason's family. The Hartwell family lived just down the street for us when we were building our new homes and families on Enoch Road. Jason was just younger than our daughter Jamie, just older than our son Adam. Richard generously shared his construction skills and tools with us as we worked on our home; Allison was our daughter's Kindergarten teacher. Sadly, we lost track of our friends when they moved away, but never forgot them. We pray for all Jason's family that the Holy Spirit will speak comfort and peace to your hearts, that you will find consolation in your sweet memories of Jason and in knowing that his spirit is eternal, that you will be with him again.

Jason was the first friend I made when my family moved to Utah over 30 years ago and we have remained friends ever since. Whenever I have a fond memory of growing up in the 90s and 00s it usually involves Jason. Whether it was the music we listened to, the movies we watched, the video games, the concerts, the trips, the laughs, it always brings a smile to my face. Jason was a good friend and we had some great times together. Rest in peace my friend.

I remember how much fun we had in Las Cabo’s, Mexico with the blue sky above us and the blue sea below us, with the wind in our faces atop a ship and your first experience snorkeling in the sea and all our other adventures we had together in this life. You were an amazing son with lots of personality and I will cherish the 43 years we spent with you. May you fly with the eagles and angels now and see new beauty, just from a different angle now! Enjoy your new adventures! Love ❤ you my son. Looking forward to seeing you again! Mom

My condolences to the Hartwell family. I knew Jason through my brother Travis as Jason lived down the street from us in Sandy and Trav and he got to be good friends through their shared love of baseball card collecting and horror movies. I got to know Jason through the years and his brother Brian and they could always keep us laughing. Had many good times and will miss Jason. RIP my friend.

What a great time we had at Fenway Park watching the Red Sox play with our seats near the 'Green Monster'. I enjoyed watching you and your cousin Ryan reaching out to catch foul balls. As a Dad I could not have been happier to be there with my wife Sharon, my son & my nephew. A cherished moment that will never be forgotten. Dad
