Jason McIntyre Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 5, 2014.
Jason Joseph McIntyre, 42, lost his battle with cancer at North Valley Hospital on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014. Jason was born May 20, 1972, the son of Joanne Biwer and Paul McIntyre in Fargo, N.D. He was raised and educated in West Fargo, graduating from West Fargo High School in 1990. He then graduated from Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2000. He moved to Whitefish and opened his own business of Advanced Medical Massage in Kalispell. He married Sherry Lynn Schneider on Big Mountain on Feb. 20, 2004, on Chair 2 by the Jesus statue. They had two sons — Justin, age 12, and Jacob, age 9. Jason's love for the outdoors has passed, on the last full moon of 2014. For people who knew Jason, he scheduled family and friends outings on full moon dates, which included skiing, snowmobiling, rafting, camping, hiking and fishing. He will be missed by many. Jason is survived by his mother, Joanne Biwer; stepfather, Eddie Biwer; daughter, Kyla, of Hawley, Minn.; sons, Justin and Jacob, of Whitefish; ex-wife, Sherry McIntyre, of Whitefish; brothers, Brad and Mary McIntyre of Casselton, N.D., and Brian McIntyre of Fargo; stepsister, Melanie McIntyre, of Fargo; step sisters, Debbie Biwer Cain of Goodyear, AZ and Linda Biwer Moe of New Port Ritchie, FL; step brothers, Paul, Gary and Mark Biggerstaff of Fargo; and nieces, Lauren (Zachary) Prante of Grand Forks, N.D., and Sierra McIntyre of Fargo. He was preceded in death by his father Paul McIntyre, stepmother Coralyn McIntyre, and stepbrother Bill Biggerstaff. A celebration of Jason's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, at the Moose Lodge in Whitefish. Services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:30 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND.
