Javier Castaneda was born in El Paso, TX. He was raised in Los Angeles, CA, graduated from Garfield High School, and attended ELACC. Javier found his calling in Restorative, recreational and locomotion Therapy. Moved to El Paso to be closer to his parents in 1998. He worked in various Skilled Nursing Facilities in El Paso, last one being The Bartlett-Assisted Living, where he was loved by his co-workers and patients. He is proceeded in death by his older brother Jose Geronimo. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his parents Jose and Evangelina Castaneda, Sister Julie Caldera Castaneda, brothers Alberto, Jesus, Oscar, Juan. Nephews and Nieces, Joseph Angel Castaneda, Benjamin Caldera, Albert Jr, Jose Jr, Jesus Jr, Robert, Eddie, Ivan, Luis, Alberto III, Scott, Ashlynn, Veronica, Vivian, Crystal, Brandy, Angie.
Javier was kind hearted, hard working, protective, and loving. He will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts, and greatly missed
Javier Castaneda nació el 16 de marzo de 1971 y falleció el 8 de abril del 2020 en El Paso, TX. Se crió en Los Ángeles, California, y se graduó de la escuela Garfield High School y asistió a ELACC. Javier encontró su vocación en terapia restaurativa, recreativa y de locomoción. Se mudó a El Paso en 1998 para estar cerca de sus padres. Trabajó en varias instalaciones de enfermería especializada en El Paso, la última de ellas fue en The Bartlett-Assisted Living, donde fue amado por sus compañeros de trabajo y pacientes. Le procede en muerte su hermano mayor, José Gerónimo. Fue amado y será echado de menos enormemente por sus padres José y Evangelina Castaneda, su hermana Julie Caldera Castaneda, sus hermanos Alberto, Jesús, Oscar y Juan. También quedan sus sobrinos y sobrinas: Joseph Ángel Castaneda, Benjamin Caldera, Albert Jr, José Jr, Jesús Jr, Robert, Eddie, Ivan, Luis, Alberto III, Scott, Ashlynn, Verónica, Vivian, Crystal, Brandy y Angie. Javier fue amable de corazón, trabajador, protector y amoroso. Siempre estará en nuestros pensamientos y en nuestros corazones, y será muy echado de menos.

These last two years have been the very hardest I wait for your call at midnight or your text. My heart hurts that your gone Javiersito. There is no words to describe how I'm feeling at this moment. Javier you had we been best friends for more than 20. You are a brother to me and a family member to all of us. I will always miss your smile your laughter your kindness caring loving person who you were. My heart is broken but I know you wouldn't want me to be sad you were always a very happy person.
