Jean represented me in a case when nobody else would. I sued my ex for fraud years after our divorce was finalized and Jean took it all the way to the South Carolina Supreme court to prove the extrinsic fraud. Knowing that you are right and proving that you are right can be very different. Jean believed in my case when no other attorney would and she was the BEST in my book. I was looking to see how she was doing when I found out about her tragic death. I just wanted to thank her again. I know she is in a good place.

Jean was one in a million, we came from Ireland England and Scotland to foxhound and Jean welcomed us with a grin from ear to ear. What a wonderful time we had and we planned wonderful return trips for Jean, only to have her taken away too soon. Thank you Jean for the memories x Gráinne Mc Mahon

My wife and I remember Jean so dearly. She was a close friend in law school, but we lost touch after we left Columbia for Texas. Jean was a shining light in law school, and I admired her intellect. I will remember her freckled good looks atop that giant thoroughbred. We are shocked. Her son and daughter-in-law lost a dear family member.

This is late in coming; but, believe me, Jean has been in my thoughts a lot since her passing. She and I worked together for more years than I can remember, and she helped me through some trying cases of my own. Over the years, I like to think that we became friends, and I will always treasure her as a friend and as the best legal help I could have ever hoped for.

I am so fortunate to have met Jean last year at Belle Meade. She was quite the horsewoman and a generous soul. Miss Jean will be missed, her spirit will live on. Keep the pace and have fun. My condolences to her family and friends.
sincerely,

So sorry to learn that Jean passed away. We were in law school together and over the years, we would see each other occasionally. She was a good human being and will be missed. Henri

Jean was a friend from my days at Furman. When I was informed of her tragic death I felt this sense of youth lost. A very strong personality and presence has been silenced but is in the comforting hands of our Lord. God bless you Jean.

Jean was a wonderful friend, attorney and rider. Most of all, she loved her family and tradition. Her son Trent and daughter-in- law, Hannah meant everything to her. She loved them with her whole heart. Jean wanted to make memories with everyone she knew. She certainly did with me and with all of us who loved her. We had a mutual love of silver which was something we both enjoyed chasing after. Jean loved The Hunt and she loved to hunt for treasure. For me, there will never be another person like her. She was a true southern lady with a legacy that will not allow her to be forgotten. I will miss her always.

Jean was an amazing woman. I'm so blessed to call her friend. And I am just one of many as she made friends with everyone she met. All the foxhunting community will miss you. But I remind myself that you left us at the top of your game, doing something you loved, and you went quickly.
