Jean Hall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 8, 2025.
With a heavy heart, the family of Jean Hall announces her death on July 26th. Jean was a dearly loved mother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her sons Mike (Angie) and Dan (Janet), grandchildren Graham (Serina), Bram and Adam, sister Judy (Bob), sisters-in-law Dixie (Bob) and Donna (Ray), nephew Brian (Sherri), and niece Audrey (Mark).

She met her late husband, Charlie, when the Air Force stationed him in Wisconsin. They lived in Indiana, Florida and then retired to Indiana. Over the years, Jean worked as a full-time mother, as a lunch lady and at Edward Jones. She had the knack of keeping things calm.

She was always a bundle of energy. She put thousands of miles on her bicycle riding on the Pinellas Trail and when unable to do so, rode her stationary bike. She was always up for decorating and helping others to do so. She could cut in a paint line better than most professionals. She was organized and kept a tidy, neat and comfortable household, that guests always felt welcome in.

And she knew how to enjoy life, known as Jean, Jean, the Dancing Machine by her friends at the American Legion. She spent many a Friday at the Legion and volunteered, even serving on their board. She loved driving around in her little convertible and enjoying the Florida winters.

She had many friends and she was always willing to give them a ride when needed or help them out. If one's wealth were measured in love, Jean would be truly wealthy indeed. She will be greatly missed.

We request in lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Family Support or to the Dunedin American Legion Chapter.
