Jeanie, you were one of the funniest, sweetest and most loyal friends I've ever had. We shared so many secrets, dreams and truly fun, fun times. Even though we lost touch over the last few years you have always remained in my heart and I will so miss that huge smile and laugh. I know that you are now at peace with Jesus and with your mom. My thoughts and prayers are now with Sam and the rest of your family.

Much love, Diane

FINAL GOODBYE

From the day we are born, breathe and open our eyes, there will come a day for our final goodbyes.

Infant through toddler, we always ask why, never understanding a final goodbye.

In school we are taught, still we do sigh, when people we know have their final goodbye.

It's sad and it's tragic, you too may just cry, trying to understand a final goodbye.

For when that day comes, when a loved one must die, there's no other experience like their final goodbye.

God takes them to heaven, somewhere in the sky. We'll be united for eternity after our final goodbye.

The world did indeed loose a wonderful woman / friend / mother / sister when Jean was taken from us so suddenly. I had the honor of knowing Jean for the last three years and found a friend for life. I'm not sure how we that our left will go on without that wonderful smile, sense of humor and always a kind word but we will rejoice that she is home and with her mother who she missed so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Hey I really hate to see this beautiful face on this page because she was so unbelievably awsome and I loved her even though i new her very little she was still an awsome person to be around she was the "life of the party" I remember all the times at thanksgiving and christmas where I could just sit and tell her all the stories of my basketball games and she would always reply "I can't wait to see you play" I may be only 14 years old and I was about 10 when we first met the 4 years we spent were some of the greatest times I ever had. I LOVE YOU Jean and I will miss you until I see you again in heaven. - your nephew

I am very saddened to hear of Jean's death. I went to grade school with Jean and like everyone else who knew her remember how nice and full of energy she was and what I remember most is that she always had a huge smile on her face. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and her son at this very difficult time.

My heart is heavy today.. Today I found out that a dear sweet childhood friend of mine passed away. To those of her family; Sam her dearly beloved son, John, Gary, Mark, Steph, and Mary My deepest prayers and sympathy for you and the repose of the soul of Jeanie.

Even though Jean and I lost contact over the past few year's The thought of her was always there. That sweet, sweet, smile and giggly laugh I can still hear today!

Jean and I were bud's in Grade School/ Junior High at Annunciation. Those memories I have of Jean during that time frame in my life were some of the fondest memories I have of my childhood.

I alway's admired Jean and her strong work ethic. At the age of 11 Jeanie had her own paper route. I delivered many news papers with Jean and "Gary's Dog" Tore. Jean would always reward me with candy for helping her out!

When Jean's family moved away to Minnetonka after our 8th Grade Year I was devasted! It was hard to see my dear friend move so far away.

May God Bless and Comfort you in this difficult time.

It's 6:26 pm, November 7th. Just moments ago, I was outside and was overwhelmed by a massive display of northern lights. I have not seen such a display for at least 20 years. I believe it was Jean's smile radiating in the heavens for all of us to see.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw that face with the million dollar smile at the top of the obituaries. I am so stunned. Although I have not kept in close touch with Jean since high school, I will always consider her one of my closest, dearest friends. When I think of Jean, the first word that comes to mind is "sweet." One could not find a more genuine person. She was a person to which I could tell my deepest, darkest secrets -- and was always non-judgemental. I will never forget her in her cheerleading uniform when she cheered on the MHS wrestling team -- big M on her chest and ribbons in her perfectly coifed hair. She was so loyal to those boys!

Paul, Mark and family, I know that she is in excellent company where she is now. Your parents, my dad Joe, who passed away earlier this year from melanoma and my infant son, Teddy, who was taken from me at 5 months (gestational age) this past September. I know she will brighten up the heavens with her smile and her infectious laugh. Oh, that laugh!

I know it sounds cliche, but you will truly be in my prayers and thoughts. I would love to share memories with you whenever you wish.

God Bless,

Lisa (McFarlin) Wandrei
