Dear Michael,Allissa and Kristen;
Jean's passing comes as a shock. Our wee planet has lost another creative soul.She was the best black and white photographer,nobody has captured Bowness Park like her!.Having known Jean since 1977(Fairview Junior High)I have counted her as one of my endearing friends.Her spark and energy will be missed.

I just learned of Jean's passing. I had the privilege of meeting her at a CSSD Learning Commons meeting this past year. We both worked in the Library at St. Brigid's at different times. She was a kind and gentle soul. I am so sorry for the loss of Jean as a wife, mother, friend and colleague. She will be missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I am greatly saddened to hear of Jean's passing. We worked together at St. Anthony and we would have many conversations about life, family and particularly my struggles as a single mom. Jean helped me through some tough days and often cheered me up with her beautiful cards and her kind and gentle nature and wonderful words of wisdom. God Bless You.

I am truly sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I worked with Jean at St. Anthony's. She was so kind, so soft and gentle with the adults and students alike. Her handmade cards were amazing, just like her library ideas and artistic bulletin board designs. A truly gently soul. RIP dear Jean.

Jean was a very helpful, kind and considerate school friend. She was always willing to lend a hand to find a book, to offer a stem activity to do with my students, or to bring in origami for the kids. I know the Gr. 4 students always loved her joke of the week, her secret messages in books and her beautiful story telling. I only wish I had known her longer than a year as her gentleness was a blessing and a true gift. She will be missed.

I feel really blessed for a God-given opportunity to work with Jean for four years at St. Anthony School, during which I had a friend who had a ready smile on her face every day, and a library where the children and I really enjoyed visiting because of her artistic representations of the stories that she also made come alive during her animated read-alouds. With her gentle manners, positive attitude and readiness to support everyone, she was really loved and greatly appreciated by all. It is therefore with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to a wonderful woman and a dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loving family, Jean. Until we meet again...
