THEBERGE, Jean Patricia
October 14, 1930 - November 12, 2015
Jean Patricia Theberge passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Jean will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband Martin, children Michelle (Keith), Karen and Gary. She was the proud grandmother of Derek, Lindsay, Kevin, Laura, Stephanie, Rochelle, Jordan, Bradley and Sherilyn and proud great- grandmother of Jayden. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Betty Pollock, brother and sister- in-law Cy and Betty Theberge, her many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents George and Hazel Pollock, her brothers George, Bill and Dan, and sister Marion. Jean was born in Radville, Saskatchewan on October 14, 1930 and lived most of her early life in Regina. Jean and Martin met while employed at BA Oil in Regina. They married on August 20, 1955 and began to raise their family. The Theberges made new homes and unforgettable friends in Regina, Calgary, Red Deer, Winnipeg and then back in Calgary again. Jean was very courageous through her many health challenges over the years. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the dedicated staff at Wentworth Manor for their caregiving and support, as well as to the Foothills Hospital Unit 102 and Rockyview General Hospital Unit 58. The care and compassion that Jean and family received during her recent hospitalization was very much appreciated. A private family service will be held at a later date. Marty: I am so sorry that your best friend has left you. I know that memories, friends and family will help in your grieving but I also know that because Jeanie was such a bigger than life spirit that the emptiness you will feel will be profound. I will never forget the huge white running shoe you both gave me a very long time ago. Jeanie was so much fun.
I hope her passing was painless.
I will call you when I am in town as you are probably surrounded by family. I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you both.
Love you.
